Mawkdok Dympep Valley View Point is on the way from Shillong to Cherrapunji with the hillside street on the side and Dympep on the opposite side. The Dympep on the opposite side of the road can be seen clearly from this place. You sit here, for while on the way to Cherrapunji.
Mawkdok Dympep Valley is one such beautiful place from where you can see the entire valley in a very beautiful way. You can clearly see how the two mountain valleys come together. This place is part of the east Khasi hills. The mountain valley surrounded by green forest is very beautiful to see above.
Mawkdok Dympep Valley View Point Location:
The viewpoint is located 37 km. from Shillong. You will reach here from Shillong within an hour. Although this part was formerly part of the Sohra circuit, it has now come under the Meghalaya Tourism Department, making it more convenient to explore the area.
Mawkdok Dympep Valley View Zipline:
You can enjoy advantages in this valley as there is a zipline, and you can enjoy some time on the zipline. You don't need to buy a ticket to enter the valley but you need to buy a ticket for the zipline.
There are two types of zipline one is small and another one is big in length. The ticket price for the Mawkdok Dympep Valley viewpoint zipline is 400₹ per person(Length 1089 feet). There is also a big zipline that cost 800₹ per person(2600 feet). You can enjoy crossing the valley through the zipline.
